Many think that a team is limited to the world of sports, but we are all part of some form of team; our family, our division at work, our friends, or our whole company.
What is it then that makes some teams more successful than others, that some divisions never have any problems, that some marriages seem "ridiculously happy?" Is there a theme in this? Yes, we believe there is.
In order to get maximum security, trust and wellbeing, which is the base
for being successful; we need to have a common base of values.
That is, we have the same norms that apply to everyone that is part of
the team, regardless of hierarchy, age or title. If we have that and live
by it we dare to use our maximal potential and perform at 100 %.
The common base of values is something that must be developed together
if we really want it to work in reality. It can't be something
that is being sent from the management because then it is not "my"
base of values, which is a prerequisite for whether it will be followed
or not. (We will be happy to guide you in the creation of your common
base of values through a process that takes place at your company - see
attached site.) A common base of values will state how we shall
act toward each other, what behavior we shall accept internally as well
as externally.
When we share the vision and the common base of values we will receive
more energy and we become more active. When we help each other without
talking about each other but with one another, no objectives or visions
will be impossible.
The leadership in the form of "the boss of yesterday" does not work today. The most important thing for humans is to feel important, to know that I am needed. A team that is communicating that feeling will be successful and will be much stronger than other teams.
If you want the tools, the base and the understanding of how a team works, this is the perfect day for you.
