It is sometimes difficult to know which way to go, even when you know where you are going. In those situations, personal coaching can be a useful tool to help you find answers to your questions, and to help you find your way in a jungle of alternative routes.
Coaching means "help to help yourself". When we are coaching someone, the intention is always to make the mentee strong in herself, her self-image, and her goals and visions. Therefore, we aim to visualise your goals and plans of action in a comprehensible and clear way to help you get to where you want to go. Professionally, socially and privately. We coach the whole person, and make sure that all facets of life interoperate and depend on each other in order for them to work 100%.
A
coaching program usually consists of six meetings in total, 2-5 hours
each time, for a period of six months. Between meetings, the mentee
will have some homework to do, the results of which will then be discussed
at the following meeting. Additionally, the mentee can stay in touch
with the coach by phone or e-mail for shorter discussions or to seek
advice. We strive to make the mentee self-driven and comfortable as
soon as possible, in order to avoid an unnecessarily prolonged need
for coaching.
It is not in our interest to maintain a long coaching relationship. Our goal is to strengthen the individual's ability to coach herself in the future - self-coaching - and make her trust her own ability to make decisions and stick to them.
After the initial meeting between the coach and the mentee, there is always an option to terminate the coaching program, or switch to a different coach, because just like in any relationship, it is all about building trust and confidence. This option is available to both parties, to ensure that the program will be successful and give the desired results.
